Adult Leadership

Volunteer & Adult Leadership Opportunities

Adult volunteers are the backbone of safe scouting. We welcome dedicated adults who uphold the Scout Promise and are willing to undergo mandatory background checks and safeguarding certification.

Weekly Mentorship4–6 hours / week

Scout Troop Leader / Mentor

Guide a patrol of junior or rover scouts through campcraft, navigation, and community service projects.

Requirements: Age 25+, clear background vetting, completion of SPN Safeguarding Module, passion for youth character development.
Event-BasedDuring seasonal camp jamborees

Field Medical Volunteer / First Responder

Manage camp first-aid stations, conduct wellness checks, and supervise field hydration & outdoor safety.

Requirements: Medical/Nursing background or certified First Aid / CPR qualification.
Project-Based2–3 weekends / month

Environmental Campaign Coordinator

Organize mangrove restoration expeditions, plastic-free river initiatives, and local sapling planting.

Requirements: Background in environmental science, forestry, or community civic organizing.

Mandatory Safe Recruitment Guidance

All adult volunteer applicants must provide government identity verification, two character references, police clearance where applicable, and pass the SPN Safeguarding Assessment before any contact with youth members.
